At Sprout Tree Service, we believe in combining skill, experience, and a deep respect for nature to provide top-tier tree care. Our journey started with a passion for hard work, a commitment to excellence, and the guidance of industry mentors who helped shape our business into what it is today.
A Passion for Tree Care
My path to arboriculture wasn’t a direct one. While attending Western Kentucky University, I took a job as a ground worker at Golden Rule Tree Service in Nashville, TN. Though my degree wasn’t related to tree care, I quickly developed a passion for the work. My drive to excel pushed me to learn every aspect of ground operations before training as a climber. Soon, I had mastered many of the essential skills of the trade.
After earning my degree, I pursued a career in management, refining my leadership and administrative skills. Six years later, I returned to Golden Rule Tree Service as General Manager. During that time, I worked closely with the company’s owner, Jim LaBerge, who became both a mentor and an inspiration. With his support, I launched Sprout Tree Service LLC in May of 2019. Jim retired shortly after, but his influence and guidance remain invaluable to me as I continue to build and grow the company.
Why Customers Trust Sprout Tree Service
The foundation of Sprout Tree Service is built on trust, professionalism, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. Homeowners and businesses choose to work with us because they know we prioritize safety, clear communication, and high-quality service. Every member of our team is carefully selected, not just for their expertise, but for their commitment to treating customers and their properties with respect. From start to finish, we focus on meeting your needs, completing work efficiently, and leaving your space better than we found it.
Life Beyond the Trees
Outside of work, I’m a devoted family man and an active member of my church, serving as a deacon. I have a passion for adventure and enjoy a range of athletic activities, including cycling, weightlifting, snowboarding, volleyball, disc golf, and backpacking. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and two daughters, traveling, playing board games, or participating in community events. Our family goal is to visit every state together, but if we had to pick a last-minute getaway, the Gulf Coast would always be a top choice.
Family First
My wife and I met in 2006, started dating in 2013, and were married in May of 2016. We share a love for faith, family, and simple joys like gardening, beach trips, and good company. Our oldest daughter, now almost eight, is in second grade and enjoys playing piano, riding her bike, and exploring her creativity through arts and crafts. Our youngest daughter, just over a year old, is already showing her adventurous spirit. Watching them grow and bond as sisters has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.
At Sprout Tree Service, we don’t just care about trees—we care about people. Whether we’re helping a homeowner maintain their landscape or spending time together as a family, we believe in doing things with purpose, passion, and integrity.
